Origins at BME

Born at Black Multiverse Enterprises.
Built for the community.

Black ’Verse was created in December 2021 by NiKole “Technikole” Maxwell, CEO and Founder of Black Multiverse Enterprises, as BME’s flagship Web3 Metaverse community program.

Discord-first and built for scale, Black ’Verse grew to thousands of members — a decentralized, education-driven community focused on the people often left out of Web3 conversations. Every initiative, event, and partnership flowed through the Black ’Verse community channel first.

Black ’Verse has since wound down (~2024) as NiKole focused on BME and Techniverse. It stands today as a closed legacy chapter — we're honoring what was.

BME — and by extension Black ’Verse — activated into the Grow with Google program in July 2022 and reached Gold status in September 2022, within three months of activation.

Q4 2022 was dedicated to a 12-week Grow with Google Education Series "Skill Up" led by NiKole “Technikole” Maxwell, Founder of Black Multiverse. The series served as capability building using Google Workspace, job growth, and cybersecurity as focus topics. The series was delivered to the Black ’Verse community, streamed to Roku, Hulu and Amazon. It is now available on YouTube for public access.

Excluded by design: Meta / Facebook Horizon was intentionally left out as a values-based decision. Black ’Verse committed to decentralized-first platforms.
